JOB DESCRIPTION: The District File Clerk will be responsible for general office activities. Hours are flexible and to be determined.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as file clerk for Emerald Lake Village District Board of Commissioners, located in Hillsborough, NH. Maintain and file any necessary documents and/or records. Search current and past records to provide information requests made by residents or Board of Commissioners. Answer and log incoming phone calls and messages. Contact commissioners re: phone messages as needed. Return any calls where general information is requested. Retrieve District mail from our P.O. Box at the Hillsborough Post Office. Perform any necessary general office duties and other related duties as required including record keeping, filing, keeping office supplies and cleaning supplies (incl. paper towels, soap, toilet paper) stocked, general cleaning (sweeping/vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, kitchenette area), and other duties as assigned. Set up the office for meetings, including supplying copies of the agenda for the public and sign-in sheets. Keep the Commissioners advised as to the needs of the district within the scope of his/her duties. Knowledge of municipal office procedures and terminology, clerical skills, organizational skills, knowledge of office equipment (computers, printers etc.) is preferred. Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with the Board of Commissioners.

The ELVD will hold a small work detail for anyone interested in VOLUNTEERING to help clean up some of Burnham Park's downed trees, and vegetation. This is planned for Saturday, 5/7/22 starting at 9:00 AM and going to approx 12:00 pm
