REMINDER - Winter Street water interruptions

Posted 11/8/22

A reminder to Winter street residents, There may be temporary water service interruptions daily as the construction crew passes your home with the excavator. They need to disconnect the temp water line while they excavate and move the machinery past the temp line. Once past each location they should be hooking the lines up again. We appreciate your patience during this project. Please do not operate any of the temporary water connection lines or main inlet valve to your home unless the Crew or the Board communicates this to you. In general the crew will operate the necessary valves for you to have water. We want to prevent backflow leaks into the old system.

Thank you,

Brett Taber - ELVD Board Of Commissioners

Betterment Tax Bills - Resident Notice Regarding Water Bills

Posted 10/30/22

The 2nd issue of the ELVD water billing was recently sent out to water users of the district. This task is processed by the Hillsboro Town Clerk/ Tax Collector as support to ELVD by State Statute. By now many of you may have received your invoice. It may look different than you have seen previously. The main reason for this difference is that the Town of Hillsboro have swapped over to a new software system in the last 1-2 months. In this database, the naming or title of our ELVD water system fee is called ”Betterment Tax”.

Please be assured this is not a new tax of any type. This is the 2nd water bill for 2022 that covers the approved budget for this Calendar year. If you have any questions, please direct them to the Districts email: info@elvdnh.com or call the office (603)-464-3128 and leave a phone message that we can get back to you with a response.

Thank you,
ELVD Board Of Commissioners
