Resident Notice of Water Project Work

Posted 7/4/23

Hello to all residents,

SUR construction will be back in the district on or about 7/5/2023 to continue work on water infrastructure replacement. They will begin work on Rabbit Path then progress to Beaver Glen and then Boulder Pass over the next 4-8 weeks.

Residents for Rabbit Path, please work with SUR construction on keeping the roadway clear and not leaving vehicles on roadway/ right of way travel portions of road.

If vehicles are not moved they can be towed since the roadway is not a regular place to park vehicles.

Please be patient while they begin the work for water line replacements in these areas.

Thank you for your understanding in advance, ELVD Board Of Commissioners

Resident Notice of Current Lake Water Level

Posted 7/3/23

Hello to all residents,

The Board of Commissioners is aware of the current level of Gould Pond due to the recent rain events. Boards had been removed from the Dam prior to and during this most recent rain event that appears to have dropped about 1-2 inches over a 24-hour period. The current lake level makes it unsafe to attempt to pull out any additional boards.

Depending on incoming water volume to Gould Pond from run offs and from Farrer Marsh. It will take a rough estimate of 12-24 hours to drop the lake level by about 4 inches. Depending on this week’s pending rain volume the lowering of the lake may take longer. We continue to monitor the area of the dam / lake outlet.

Thank you for your understanding in advance, ELVD Board Of Commissioners

Seeking Resident Input

Posted 6/7/23

Dear Residents,

Included in the cost of the approved 2022 Water Main Replacement is the installation of up to 38-40 meter pits. The district will move forward with an initial install of 12-13 meter pits in the next coming weeks, followed by installation of meters for these select locations. The purpose of this is an initial step to start collecting baseline data of water usage for various occupancy situations (single person, families, seasonal etc.).

Homes selected will NOT be metered at that time and will still be charged the flat yearly rate until a time all homes are metered. The district needs at least a year of baseline data before moving to any next steps

We are seeking residents who may wish to volunteer to have a meter pit installed at their residence (near street, by curb stop) for the following streets:

  • Autumn Road
  • Bobolink
  • Birch Tree
  • Deerpoint
  • Ellen Brook
  • Moccasin Trail
  • Old Lantern Road
  • Racoon Alley
  • Skyview
  • Turtle Bridge
  • Winter Road

  • Please email info@elvdnh.com with address and number of adults/children in your household if you would be willing to be a part of the initial install. This will cost you nothing, and no requirements from homeowners needed during or after install.

Thank You, ELVD Board Of Commissioners
