Resident Notice Of Water Project Work

SUR construction will continue work on the following roadways this week: Gould Pond Road, Greenfield Drive, Portion of Bog Road, and connection to Seminole. During this period Traffic delays may occur as well as intermittent water interruptions while connecting/ disconnecting from Temporary water source to permanent water sources.

SUR construction will also be working on the Rainbows End, Raven head and Midnight Walk area for temporary water connections and Main line excavation and installation. There may be intermittent water service interruption or traffic delays during this period. Please work with SUR construction and be patient when the equipment is in the roadway. Please plan for the extra time needed to enter or leave the roadway in these areas.

Intermittant Water Interruptions Possible Over The Next 2 Weeks Starting 10/8/2024

Roadways covering Ellenbrook over towards Bog Road (Gould Pond portion in this area as well) could see intermittent water service interruptions while temporary water service is installed for the current project work. Individual residences may see intermittent water interruptions as well while we search for a leak in this same area. We appreciate your patience and support while the improvements are made.

Lake Draw Down Notice and Winter Preparation

The time is nearing that the ELVD board of Commissioners will be working to prepare Gould Pond for the winter months. This includes various activities such as removal of swim rafts from the swimming areas, lake draw down to its winter operational level. Over the next several weeks, these tasks take place. They will begin after 9/21/24 and be completed with a final lake draw down date of 10/21/24.

Usually, most residents take care of their docks, boat removals, etc. during this period. We look forward to next year when the ponds operating level comes back to time levels.
